Slowly progressing.

Since my last blog entry (14th of July) Ive played 304 $2.5/180s and my net profits are -$2.40. Now Ive only just realised this, but I'm not disappointed because I was on a downswing for the first 200 games and instead of losing motivation and therefore playing less games I just played through the variance. I didn't even notice that Ive been 'breakeven' for the past month.

One aspect that concerns me a little about is my Heads up play. Since I started back Ive played 443 games.  Out of that Ive had 49 cashes (five 3rd place, eight 2nd place and three 1st place). So that's eight times I could of had an extra $38 profit, $304 in total. I can remember a few HU hands were just beats that I could do nothing about. This hand from the other day it was basically the first few hands HU. Do I need to be more patient ?

Going to review all eight 2nd place finishes and see where I can improve. I'm still doing well at them since I started back running at 25 ROI% which I would like to see double.

Goals until next update:

  • Only Play $2.5/180s until bankroll at $600
  • Keep away from zoom poker
  • Increase volume when off work  (sometimes 12 table etc)

bankroll: $400

oh and Robert Van Persie :D
